Back to School Parent Teacher Conferences - Thursday September 24, 2026 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Dear Parent/Guardian of Wings Academy Scholars:

Our Back to School/Meet & Greet Parent/Teacher conferences will be held virtually Thursday, September 24th, in the evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Each Department will do a brief meet & greet. Individual teachers will reach out to families individually. Grades and Progress reports will be available via Jupiter Grades – www.jupitergrades.com. You can access your child’s NYSCA account via their NYC Schools Account https://www.schoolsaccount.nyc/ If you do not have access to your child’s account, please contact our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Claudio at nclaudio@schools.nyc.gov

If you are unavailable during those times, you can email your child’s teachers and set up another time. You can also contact our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Claudio to help set that up. Feel free to contact me as well at mjackson21@schools.nyc.gov . There will be no after-school activities on Thursday 9/25.

Welcome Back to School Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences

WAHS will host it's Back to School Parent Teacher Conferences tonight starting at 5:00pm. Please note each subject area will host a brief meet and greet presentation. Teachers will call families separately. If you need to speak with a teacher please reach out to our Parent Coordinator Ms. Nydia Claudio at nclaudio@schools.nyc.gov or Principal Dr. Jackson-Dickens at mjackson21@schools.nyc.gov. Please see the letter attached that was sent home with students on Monday.

Wings Academy High School is a Uniform School. We Now Partner with French Toast Uniform Company!

You can now purchase all of the your uniform items on the French Toast Website and have it shipped to your home or school.

Tuesday September 17th is National Voter Registration Day!

If you’re looking to register to vote or check/update your voter registration, you’re in the right place! Not sure if you need to update your registration? Here’s a list of reasons to check your status:

Students who are 18 years old on or before Election Day

In almost every state, you can register to vote before you turn 18 if you will be 18 by Election Day.

Fall Parent Teacher Conferences

Dear Parent/Guardian of Wings Academy HS Scholars;

Parent teacher conferences for the Fall Semester will be held virtually Thursday November 21, 2024 in the evening from 4:30pm – 7:30pm and Friday November 22, 2024 from 12:30pm – 2:40pm. Your child’s teacher will call you during those times.

You can view your child’s progress on Jupiter Grades at www.jupitered.com . If you do not have access to your child’s Jupiter Grades account please contact your child’s Professional School Counselor:

Grades 9 and 10 – Ms. Gonzalez at rgonzalez9@schools.nyc.gov
Grades 11 and 12 Ms. Diaz at ldiaz10@schools.nyc.gov .

If you are unavailable during those times, you can use Jupiter Grades to email your child’s teacher to set up another time. You can also contact Ms. Claudio, parent coordinator at nclaudio@schools.nyc.gov to help schedule a meeting. Feel free to contact me as well.

Marking Period 2 will end on November 27, 2024. Please check with your child for their Marking Period 1 report card which was distributed on October 27, 2024 .

Friday November 24, 2024 students will be dismissed at 11:30am. They will be allowed to eat lunch in the cafeteria before going home.
